As good as meditation

It was a funny old day on Wed. The forecast was not good and we all expected an early bath . The site itself is in a stunning position overlooking the valley not far from our local spy centre. The wall is definitely an old one and its not the first time its been repaired as most of the original capping stones we inside the wall. We always need to be very careful when working on old walls as we dont want to create big holes left at the end of day, nor do we want the wall to look new as that would make the repair look out of place. DSW. Is a fantastic way to loose the world and all its problems all you need in your mind is “ can I pick it up, will it fit, is it the right shape and size and can I make it fit” . Working in pairs or groups is a little more complicated as negotiation and agreements must be made but it all works out in the end. The day its self was not that hot but because of the exposed position we all felt a little red on our necks. .In the next few weeks the volunteers will be having DSW. Workshops so if you think that would be of interest to you please come along and enjoy your time with us.
