Apart from getting my car MOT that is. On Tuesday We are having a meeting with our tree sculptor  Steve Iredale  to look at timber and get it where it needs to be. Our volunteers are also going to try their hands at carving some seating to place in front of a big Ash tree overlooking the wetland spot ( somebody else can get the nettles LOL)  On this  Wednesday the task is and you know you want to do it is Dry stone Walling up near Osborn lodge. We will be repairing the wall next week as well for those of you jolly folk that cant make it this Wed. after that its tree guard removal up at Boggle hole for the Woodland Trust and making good the path. I have put in a few examples of Steves work for you to see

We are two different groups of volunteers ,the SCV work all over the Scarborough aria doing a variety of tasks in conjunction with SBC we also are the lease holders on around 15 acres of meadow ,we only have 99 years to sort it out . The SWAG group are at the moment concentrating on Raincliffe Woods & forge Valley ,they meet on the first Sunday of the month to carry out tasks and have events in the woodland . and hope to see you there Ron Baxter Chair
